Creative, Passionate, and Devoted define my success and are the principles that drive me to embrace my profession with so much devotion and affection. Growing up as a child I always had a natural artistic passion for drawing and painting. I loved how an artist could transform a blank canvas into a beautiful masterpiece with a few simple strokes of a brush. I knew at a very young age that my calling was working with makeup, and I pursue my dreams with unrelenting drive and desire. I wanted to be the best in my profession and create beautiful expressions using permanent makeup. So I took it upon myself to seek out the best educators and trainers who inspired me. I've traveled to Spain, Mexico, and throughout the Unites States to seek their training and mentorship. I love what I do and I feel so lucky to be in this industry.

What should I expect during the procedure?
You will first have a consultation where we discuss what look you want. It is important that you wear your makeup to the appointment, so we can determine how you like your makeup applied. You can also bring your brow/eyeliner pencil and lipstick color to assist in choosing your colors. If you desire lip color and have a history of fever blisters, you will need to request a prescription antiviral from your doctor. Topical anesthetic creams will be applied before and also during your procedure to make you as comfortable as possible. Most find this resolves most if not all discomfort. Immediately after your procedure the color will appear darker than the final result. This occurs because the color is in both the epidermis (upper layer) and dermis. The color in the epidermis will flake off during the healing process leaving a softer natural color.
How long does it last?
Permanent Cosmetics will last for years depending on your skin, aftercare, lifestyle and daily care. The color will fade over time, so color touch ups are suggested. Color touch ups are provided for a small fee, depending on the amount of work necessary. The better your skin care regime is, the longer your permanent cosmetics will last. The use of a total sun block will help prevent fading due to sunlight.
Does it hurt?
We use topical anesthetic ointments and creams designed specifically for permanent cosmetics to make sure the procedure is as comfortable as possible. During a survey of clients asked about their discomfort level (from 1-10), most say it ranges between a 1-3. Many feel very relaxed during the procedure and a few have even fallen asleep.
How safe is it?
We follow all OSHA regulations, CDC guidelines, and always use Universal/Standard Precautions for your protection. New, pre-sterilized needles and machine set up are used for all clients. Disposable machine parts are used for the best safety available.

Eyeliner: No mascara is to be worn over eyeliner procedure for one week.
Lip specific: After the procedure, lips will feel tight. Allow them to remain immobile as much as possible until they peel (approx. 3 days). Avoid exaggerated facial expressions, drink fluids with straws and don't pucker lips until they peel. Avoid stretching, rubbing and friction. Do not eat foods that require stretching such as sandwiches and fruits. Cut food and pass it over the lips.
Long-term care: Protect from sun by using a daily sun block, hat and sunglasses. Keep any exfoliating skin care products (AHAs, Lactic Acids, Retinol A - including Glycolic and Salicylic Acids), laser or chemical treatments away from procedure area. Maintenance through color refreshers may be necessary every few years to keep your permanent cosmetics looking their best.
Color touch-ups are $$$ per area. (Lighter colors may need touch-ups more often.) Once healed, take care not to cover your permanent eyeliner or eyebrows with eye shadow or mineral foundation.
Healing Schedule following Permanent Cosmetics Procedure:
Day 1. The eyebrows are approximately 20-25% darker and bolder in width than they will be healed. Your skin is red under the pigment, which causes the color of the pigment to appear darker. Exfoliation, which begins in a few days, will cause the excess pigment surrounding the eyebrow to flake away and a more narrow appearance will result. New skin will heal over the pigmented area and result in a softer appearance of your eyebrows. Don't be concerned that your eyebrows initially appear darker and heavier in size than you desire this is all part of the process.
Day 2. Color remains the same.
Day 3. Eyebrows start to itch and will appear a bit thicker in texture. Exfoliation begins.
Day 4. The skin begins to flake - peeling from the outside edges first.
Day 5. Color finishes flaking off and appears softer and grayer effect for a few days until color clarifies.
Lips Healing Schedule and Effect
Day 1. Swelling, tender, heavy, thick lipstick look - reddish brick color effect.
Day 2. Slight swelling, reddish, tender, slight metallic flavor.
Day 3. Less swelling, thicker texture, sore, hot feeling before exfoliation. "Orange" color.
Day 4. Exfoliation - very chapped lips.
Day 5. Very chapped but almost finished with 1st chapping stage.
Day 6. See soft, rich color.
Day 7 Lip color disappears - "frosty" stage begins (2nd chapping stage), a whitish, grayish haze on lips. Color "blooms" from within more and more each day until day 21. This is when he color you see is the color you have. However, lips remain a bit dry for a month or two. Use a good lip balm (with SPF) and they will return to normal but with color.

Pregnant or nursing, Diabetic, Chemotherapy (ask your doctor), Viral infections and/or diseases, Epilepsy, Pacemaker or major heart problems, Organ transplant, skin irritation or psoriasis near the treated area, sick (cold or flue), Botox within two weeks of the appointment
